Likewise, politicians should also practice what they preach for the good of the society. Thomas Jefferson was born on April 13th 1743 at Shadwell, Virginia at the time when America was under British Colonies in power of King George III. It was also the time whereby inequality was pronounced, and the black ma n was owned by a white man. Slavery was a day to day event. Jefferson being a white man inherited his fathers and father-in-laws slaves. There was about 200 slaves on Jefferson plantations each year. At age of 16 he went to the College of William and Marry where he studied metaphysics, mathematics, philosophy and other subjects.
